The brief
Positioned between the city and the sea, aimed at buyers who want the lifestyle without the price that usually comes with it. For that buyer the decision is about the suburb long before it is about the build.
What we built
About, location and lifestyle carry the argument in that order, covering the local amenities and what living there actually looks like. Now selling sits behind them for the buyer who is already past being convinced and just wants to know what is available.
The register form asks buyers to place themselves (first home buyer, downsizer, investor or upgrader) which is four very different sets of questions arriving through one form. The sales team gets the segment with the lead.
The engineering
Buyer type is a structured field on the enquiry rather than something to be inferred from a message, so the sales team can sort by it. Now selling is client-editable, which is the section that changes most and the one most likely to go stale on a site the developer cannot edit. The build is a small number of pages with nothing competing for the registration.
