The brief
Nobody searches for a law firm. They search for a problem. A separation, a dispute with a builder, a business partner who has stopped answering. A firm with thirteen practice areas hidden inside one dropdown is invisible to every one of those searches.
What we built
Each area of practice is a real page: family law, commercial and business law, liquor licensing, hospitality and gaming, litigation and dispute resolution, wills, estates and succession planning, building and construction law, intellectual property, liquidation and corporate insolvency, employment law, mining access and compensation, property law and conveyancing.
Partner profiles sit alongside them, along with Communiqué, the firm’s articles section, and a history running from 1892 through 1919, 1975, 1987, the 1990s, the 2000s and 2017 to now. Client testimonials are on the site by name.
The engineering
Thirteen practice areas is thirteen entry points, each with its own title, description and heading structure, which is the whole reason a firm this old should not be running a single services page. Communiqué is a content type the practice publishes to directly, so a partner writing about AI in legal matters can have it live the same day. AML and CTF obligations are given their own page rather than a footnote.
