The brief
A boutique studio specialising in brand systems for premium products and places, across wine, food and beverage, hospitality and property. A studio like that is hired category by category, and a portfolio filed chronologically makes a prospective client do the sorting.
What we built
Work is split the way the studio sells: branding, logos, wine and spirit labels, food, other packaging, property, signage and website. A wine producer looking for a label sees a body of label work, not a scroll through everything the studio has ever made.
Behind the portfolio sit key people, an articles section, and a combined contact and join page that treats new business and new hires as the same conversation.
The engineering
Category is structured on the project, so a piece of work can appear under more than one without being duplicated. Projects are client-editable, which for a studio that publishes new work constantly is the entire point. Image handling is set up for the large, colour-critical photography a packaging portfolio depends on.
